MaugeDesign
Our client needed a refreshed website to promote her new book and showcase her award-winning book cover and ebook designs. Her previous website was outdated, and she wanted a modern, clean, and organized design on a platform that would allow her to independently maintain and update her content. We recommended the Squarespace platform for the design and development of her new website.
This project held a special significance for me, as the client was my former professor, Carole Mauge-Lewis. It felt incredibly rewarding to use the skills she once helped me cultivate to serve her in return. That experience alone was fulfilling, but when Carole informed me that she had entered the website into the 61st GDUSA Design Awards Competition—and that we won an Award of Excellence in the Website + UX/UI Design category—I was overjoyed!
The new website not only provides Carole with a professional online presence to showcase her design talents and services, but it also promotes her new book, "So! You Want to Be a Graphic Designer." The site’s contact form makes it easy for prospective clients to inquire about new projects, while the intuitive Squarespace platform ensures Carole can independently update her content as needed.
I’m deeply grateful to Graphic Design USA (@gdusa) for the recognition and to Carole for trusting me with this project. This was a meaningful collaboration and a wonderful way to wrap up 2024.
