BRAND DESIGN PROCESS

Our approach to researching and understanding your brand begins with an in-depth discovery process. During our initial discovery call, we take the time to listen to your vision, goals, and unique challenges. This allows us to gain valuable insights into your brand's history, mission, and aspirations.
Additionally, we provide a comprehensive brand questionnaire that delves into specific aspects of your brand, such as your brand story, target demographic, competitive landscape, and desired brand personality.
We believe in fostering open communication and collaboration throughout the research process. We encourage feedback, questions, and dialogue to ensure that we are aligned with your vision and expectations every step of the way.
A creative brief is developed which outlines your mission and values, target audience, branding strategy, and research on your competition.
I also develop a moodboard to make sure we're on the same page visually before any design work gets started.
You'll receive a concept design presentation with 2-3 design options for your logos and color palette. If necessary, two rounds of refinement are included.
Once you're in love with your branding, you'll receive a brand style guide PDF and the brand design assets in an organized zip file.

The information and insights you provide during our initial interactions serve as the foundation for our brand research. Ultimately, our goal is to distill the essence of your brand into visual elements that resonate with your target audience and authentically reflect your brand identity. By combining strategic research with creative exploration, we strive to create a brand identity that not only captures the essence of your brand but also sets you apart in a competitive marketplace.
During the onboarding process, we’ll get you set up in Asana, our project management system. If you’re unfamiliar with Asana, don’t worry – it’s free to use and we’ll give you a tour during our kick-off call. Most of our communication will take place in Asana in order to keep things organized. Of course, phone calls and the occasional virtual call is included.
We typically book projects anywhere between 3-8 weeks out. Q2 and Q4 tend to be our busiest seasons. The sooner you reach out, the faster we’ll be able to get started! Once you sign the project agreement and pay the deposit we will book your project into our schedule.
You will need to purchase your own font licenses; we will provide links where you can do so (and we promise, the fonts we select for semi-custom brands are affordable!)
Two rounds of revisions are included with our brand design services. If additional revisions are necessary they will be billed at our hourly rate.
